Saint Laurent Women’s Summer 2026, Anthony Vaccarello Stuns the Paris Night.
The Women’s Summer 2026 show for Saint Laurent may be the absolute best presentation this year for any brand or any Director. Star studded from the Eiffel Tower down to the runway, you’re immediately placed in the most luxurious setting surrounded by white hydrangeas, placed carefully in YSL’s emblem shape. Under the cloak of the night, Vaccarello’s models cascade down the runway and look by look as the figures pass by - all you feel is elegance. This Summer 2026 presentation is one for the books and will be an archived wonder in the future.
Aside from the beauty of the set, lets get into the looks: Looks 1-15 kick the show off with a beautiful display of elegant blouses with big bows and leather skirts, bomber jackets, and vests. Paired stiletto heels push down the runway around the hydrangea-set YSL symbol. Following into Looks 16-35, we find more outerwear, almost centered around an elegant woman’s travels and exploration. Models come down the runway in double-breasted raincoats in an almost nylon, water-resistant material - multiple colors follow. An interesting addition to this set, you will find one model showcasing a sleeveless jumpsuit in the same nylon-like material. From Looks 36-50, it’s almost like we get put in a time machine and set back to Victorian era England. We see big, boastful shoulders and ruffles upon ruffles for each dress in this set. To see a Saint Laurent styled approach to this classical take is interesting to see and I believe adds emphasis to the elegant theme. Anthony Vaccarello has without a doubt impressed critics with this collection and show and his future may be bright with Saint Laurent.
