The Aston Martin DB12 S, 2026 Supercar of the Year.
The 2026 Aston Martin DB12 S
Rolling in hot for 2026 is revered carmaker Aston Martin, unleashing an all new DB12 S Super Tourer. This DB12 model joins the Company’s legendary “S” class, marking it’s detail in peak design and performance. This new S model features an unthinkable build that gets this car moving to 202mph, holds a redesigned Launch Control System, and hits 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds. This powerful V8 engine sits within a beautiful Aston Martin Super Tourer design worthy of awe from car enthusiast and Aston Martin fans.
Speaking on the engine to start, as stated above - this build is no joke. This 4.0 liter twin-turbo charged engine produces 700PS at 6,000rpm and 800Nm of torque between 3,000-6,000rpm. This promotes strong power and pushes this car to top 202mph. This car is built with a beautiful stainless steel quad-exhaust system in the rear - and if you’re into the rear a little more than usual, Aston Martin also has a titanium exhaust option that reduces weight by 11.7kg while amplifying your drive by 1.5 decibels. That Launch Control System previously talked about - it completely cuts gearshift timing by 50% and improves the vehicle’s overall acceleration. This car is a true strong-arm to drive.
The improved core also come with improved driving dynamics. This DB12 S has a reworked chassis for a more responsive handling. Recalibrated Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, a rear anti-roll bar, and optimized camber, toe, and caster, settings bring more detailed agility to the vehicle. The steering calibration and electronic rear differential are also fine tuned to give the car it’s natural feel.
“The technology we introduced with the DB12 now allows us exceptional scope to explore a new depth of character and capability within the same vehicle platform.”
Design wise, this vehicle is an Aston Martin treasure. The front of the vehicle displays an all new dual element splitter and functional bonnet louvres, both contributing to the overall aerodynamics of the vehicle. The car has a low, wide stance visually. The DB12 S comes with Carbon Ceramic Brakes with enormous 410mm front rotors and 360mm rear rotors. By not using steel brakes, the vehicles weight is reduced by 27kg. This provides a lighter and more controlled drive.
Inside the vehicle you find a true modern luxury wonder. Three interior options are fitted for this car - Accelerate, Inspire S semi-aniline, and Inspire S full semi-aniline leather. The unique interior feature a red anodized drive mode controller with contrasting stitching and seatbelts. An Alcantara heated sports steering wheel is also optional for this vehicle. All interior options feature S Herringbone quilting throughout.
“With DB12 S we have carefully engineered a host of detailed changes, which preserve signature levels of refinement, boost vehicle performance and amplify driver engagement. Having added this greater dynamic and performance bandwidth to DB12 S, we believe this elevates the Super Tourer ethos to a thrilling new level.”
The 2026 Aston Martin DB12 S is now available to order in both Coupe and Volante body styles. Pricing is expected to range from $270,000 to $290,000.
